Once upon a time in Thailand

Images do tell a thousand words, evoke emotion and provoke action. It may seem strange to have such a collection alongside the others but it was this very trip and life experience where I fell in love with photography hook, line and sinker. In late 2011, I was fortunate to be one of two photographers on our missions team with an old Canon 12 mp travel camera. They have been edited and cleaned up as best as possible with modern tools.

Due to the sensitivity and safety for the missionaries that live and work there, I cannot disclose much info other than our team spent months in northern Thailand on the Myanmar border giving aid and the gospel to the Burmese refugees. Their plight is scarcely known and my heart breaks for these incredible people. This is the first time these photos have been shown to the world. A book about the experience, refugees and how others can help is in the works and I hope to include a selection of photos from this trip.
